Welcome to the newly renovated Hermitage Inn.

 

Drawing from its rich history and serene setting, husband and wife team Mary Lou Ricci and Tim Hall have started a new beginning for The Hermitage Inn, bringing together an award-winning wine and culinary team with local producers and artisans to create a unique Vermont experience.

After sitting abandoned for 3 years, The Hermitage Inn has been completely renovated - the entire Inn, Restaurants and Grounds have been updated with contemporary design and luxurious finishes for year-round enjoyment.

Under Mary Lou and Tim’s stewardship, the Inn will continue to delight guests with new experiences and amenities to create a truly 5-star Southern Vermont destination.

The Inn

The Hermitage Inn features luxurious guest rooms with views of Haystack Mountain and Coldbrook, a private carriage house, casual and upscale dining options, and a garden patio. Set on 112 acres along Coldbrook at the base of Haystack Mountain, the property features a trout pond, apple orchards, private gardens, hiking and cross country ski trails and a covered bridge.

 

Dining

Executive Chef Chris Bonnivier and his team have partnered with local producers and artisans to create the best dining experience in Southern Vermont. The culinary program at The Hermitage Inn includes seasonal menus and local ingredients, an upscale Tavern, a fine dining restaurant, and beautiful outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.

 

Wine Program

Borrowing from the Inn’s eclectic history, their global travels and culinary adventures, and an inherent love for cooking, wine and entertaining, new proprietors Mary Lou Ricci and Tim Hall have restored The Hermitage Inn’s beloved wine program. The Hermitage Inn’s Wine Cellar features tastings and special events throughout the year and is available for private dinners.
